| Old Granary Burying Grounds At least 1,600 people are known to have been buried
in this tiny graveyard, founded in 1660, and framed by the Park Street
Church and the Boston Athenaeum. This landmark cemetery is where founding
fathers Paul Revere, John Hancock, Samuel Adams rest in peace. And
Elizabeth Vergoose, buried here in 1690, is believed to be the prolific
storyteller later immortalized as Mother Goose. Testimonials: D & D Enterprises, Inc. and Mayor Thomas Menino Visit GravestoneConservation.com for more information on this and other historic graveyard restoration projects.
